Environmental, social and governanceĀ (ESG)

Providing electricity to African countries is only part of the equation. Central to our strategy is taking an active role to drive the long-term prosperity of the local communities we operate in. On every project we develop and operate, we aim to make a positive impact that lasts for generations.

As well as the provision of power itself, and the employment opportunities we create, the company builds programmes focused on education, enterprise, and environmental initiatives. These help address skill gaps, create or revive a sustainable livelihood, or tackle environmental challenges.

This work is integrated into our projects from day one. We work closely with local communities to develop impact programmes and achieve maximum impact for each initiative.
